Mohaddeseh Maktabifard (female) is an architect (B.Arch. S1 Ars. – Universitas Indonesia & Universidad de Granada, 2017) and holds a Masters of Science – Engineers for Smart Cities (Université Côte d’Azur, 2020). Mohaddeseh is passionate about smart and sustainable vernacular architecture. Her professional goal is to contribute to projects focused on sustainable building planning and smart cities where innovators are inspired by environmental and socio-economic planning to lay the foundations of smarter cities. She started her career as a high-rise and community architect in East Asia, following by being a tutor for the University of Westminster International Sustainable Urban Neighborhood Workshop. In 2019, she worked on the Smart Mobility Network project within Carros Le Broc Industrial Zone as a member of the Mediterranean Institute of Risk, Environment, and Sustainable Development (IMREDD) team. Recently, in 2020 she joined the French branch of R2M Solution to learn about research and innovative EU projects. Since then she works as a Project Manager and Innovative Consultant in the energy efficiency skills in the European construction and Smart Cities sector.
