Marco Rocchetti is an Energy Manager (EGE) and a mechanical engineer registered with the Association of Engineers of Ancona. He has been working in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy integration since 2007, the year in which he graduated from the RIDEF course at the Politecnico di Milano and the IUAV of Venice.
Marco has gained experience in various fields of energy engineering, in particular in the design and analysis of photovoltaic, wind, heat pump and geothermal systems as well as CHP and micro-cogeneration plants.
He has obtained the EGE certification for the preparation of energy audits according with to UNI 11339 and carries out technical economic assessment for the efficiency improvement in industrial and residential areas.
In collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, he has worked as a technical-scientific tutor for the RIDEF master’s degree and held courses at the Università di Camerino on energy policy and management for FESR projects.
In 2014, he started working at R2M Solution as a partner and project manager for European projects with the role of innovation manager and energy management expert. He currently holds the role of Head of the Energy & Technology in the Innovation Department.

He gained experience in business management by participating in the creation and development of an innovative start-up company, where he held the role of legal representative. In the same field, he supports IPR management and patent development on an international level.
Marco is a partner at R2M Solution. He is a certified energy manager and works as a project manager in European projects with ten years of experience. He leads of the ‘Energy & Technologies’ area within the Innovation Department and contributes to business development and proposal writing in the field of energy and sustainability.
Within the Energy Department, he is involved in advising on energy audits and in due diligence for energy efficiency measures in the civil and industrial sectors.
