Davide Quaggiotto obtained a PhD in Energy Engineering at the University of Padova (UNIPD) in 2022. During his doctoral activity, he was a Research Intern in the CERC (Canada Excellence Research Chair in Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Communities and Cities) Team at Concordia University. His research activity was focused on the energy efficiency and renewable energy community, and in particular in the modeling and the integrated management of district heating networks and building-plant systems. He also worked with the University of Padova Foundation (UniSMART) as a project manager in the area of technology transfer. The work consisted of managing European research projects, in the exploitation of results, UNIPD-company research contracts, and valorizing UNIPD patents. Through his involvement in national and international research projects, he had the chance to collaborate with companies, research centers, and groups of other universities at an international level, and he explored a wide range of topics pertaining to building energy efficiency.
