Alessandro has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009, BREEAM Assessor since 2016, Secretary of the Lombardy Chapter and trainer of the Green Building Council Italy. He is also passionate about the ethical promotion in the Italian real estate community of the transformation of the building sector from a green building perspective. Graduated in Environmental Sciences, from 2007 to 2018, he worked at Duff & Phelps REAG, a leading company in real estate appraisals, valuation and technical due diligence. He served as Director of the Professional Services department in areas related to sustainability, the management of energy aspects, environmental conservation, plant engineering, and safety.
Main area of activity in R2M:
Alessandro oversees the Research to Market Group in Italy and the Sustainability Services Division, which create value specifically in the real estate sector. He works closely with investment funds, banks, wealth management firms, and insurance agencies to secure funding for improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impacts of real estate assets. Alessandro has expertise in the implementation of sustainability due diligence, adoption of Green Building certification protocols (LEED, BREEAM), and currently focusing on commercialising innovative technologies developed in EU projects for the real estate market.
