Igor is an Automation Engineer with double degree: a Master’s Degree in Building Automation and Local networks from the University of Rennes 1, France and the Engineer’ Diploma in Automation of Industrial Processes in the Chemical Industry from Technical University of Samara, Russia. He spent 13 years at NOBATEK / INEF4, the French National Institute for the energy transition of buildings, where he led and contributed to technical activities related to monitoring and automation in buildings. This professional experience allowed him to create a study material and teach higher education students (ENSGTI high school) as contractual teacher on the BMS/BACS topic. He is an accredited SRI (Smart Readiness Indicator) assessor by the French government DHUP. He has a senior experience in the development and performances assessment of innovations related to renewable energy integration in buildings as well as building flexibility and demand-side management. He has participated in several EU funded projects, like BEEM-UP (FP7), IDEAS (FP7), DR-BOB (H2020), PVSITES (H2020), Hospital 4.0 (SUDOE) and REHOUSE (Horizon Europe). He joined R2M Solution France in February 2024.

Main area of activity in R2M:

In February 2024, Igor joined the R2M French branch as a Smart Building engineer. He is involved in smart grids and SRI-related projects EVELIXIA, SRI2MARKET and SmarterEPC, and contributes to the further development of the French branch in domains of smart building and building performances assessment. He is also involved in consulting activities and sales of innovative products in France.
