Motivation & Impact
The overall objective of INBLANC is the creation of an open ecosystem structured on the data economy of building lifecycle. Thus, in the centre is the lifecycle of buildings, in four stages as per EN15978 (2011): Product, Construction, Use and End of Life. The data generated during the lifecycle stages are processed and utilised to calculate useful indicators used to describe the past and the present of the building, as well as to predict its future, consolidated in a Digital Building Logbook. Five types of indicators and models (Energy, Human, Environment, Economy, and Resilience) will be calculated, modelled, and operationalised: the mapping of how each indicator affects the others will enable the deployment of multiple, high value-added toolsets. These toolsets and tools, convert data into actionable knowledge through services centred on energy, renovation planning, healthiness, facility management and space-as-a-service. At the outer ring, the 6 stakeholder Target Groups (TGs) can access the data, tools, and services according to their needs (conceptually by turning the wheels).
Role of R2M
R2M brings his experience on ICT, leading the activities related to data management architecture, data harmonisation, safety and security. Moreover, we lead the activities related to bankability and financing of new construction of deep renovation projects. Last but not least, we bring in our knowledge and experience on Scan2BIM.
