Project manager

Funding Scheme:

4RinEU is a Horizon 2020 EU-funded project involving 13 partners that seeks to provide new tools and strategies to encourage large scale renovation of existing buildings, fostering the use of renewable energies, and providing reliable business models to support their applications. 4RinEU has the aim to define robust, cost-effective, tailorable deep renovation technology packages supported by usable methodologies, feeding into reliable business models. The project will minimize failures in design and implementation, manage different stages of the deep renovation process, from the preliminary audit up to the end-of-life, and provide information on energy, comfort, users’ impact, and investment performance.
The current building stock is inefficient and being renovated at a low rate. The 4RinEU deep renovation solutions have the ambition to improve the performance of existing residential building in a cost-effective way to boost renovation rate, while at the same time improving occupant comfort and wellbeing. The methodologies and business models being developed will enhance the confidence of investors in the technologies, thanks also to the demonstrations in a range of diverse pilots across climatic challenges.
